The City of Phoenix is suggesting an approximate increase of $2.40 per single-family residential customer per month to help fund its Capital Improvement Program, including replacing water pipes, building and maintaining utility treatment plants, pumps, reservoirs, and wells. Phoenix City Council plans to consider the rate increase on March 17. If approved, the new rates would go into effect later this year.
