A summer 2022 opening is planned for the new Fry’s Marketplace and Fry’s Fuel Center at the southwest corner of Jomax Road & Norterra Parkway. Site work began on the approximate 109,000-square-foot grocery store in mid-July.
With the closest Fry’s Marketplace at Dove Valley and I-17, the new store will fill a need in the burgeoning North Valley neighborhoods, including the fast-growing Union Park at Norterra.
Red Development is developing the 12-acre site which also includes four pads with drive-through capability for restaurants and other businesses facing Jomax Road. No additional tenants have been announced to date.

Pigtails & Crew Cuts is now open in the Happy Valley Crossroads shopping center at 1730
W. Happy Valley Road, adjacent to the soon to open Bricks & Minifigs store. Bricks & Minifigs. The salon specializes in kids cuts, however, haircuts are offered for the whole family and walk-ins are welcome.
Boot Barn is planning to locate in the space formerly occupied by Pier 1 in Happy Valley Towne Center. The permit has been approved by the City of Phoenix to allow for remodeling of the space
