Founders of the fast-concept custom-made salad restaurant, Salad and Go, are bringing another concept to 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road, offering wild-caught Maine and Canadian lobster meals to go.
Angie’s Lobster offers a simple menu of lobster rolls, fried lobster fingers, french fries and drink choices of lemonade and iced tea. Besides being able to order and receive a lobster meal in a fast fashion, the meals are affordably priced at $10.
According to the privately owned company’s website, the limited menu allows for lobster to be ordered in large volume directly from Maine and Canada to supply the chain’s six Valley locations. And, much like Salad and Go, customers will use the drive-thru or process their own payment at the walk-up ordering stations.
Founders Tony and Roushan Christofellis created Angie’s Lobster to honor their late mother, Angie, a hard-working immigrant and single mother worked in seafood restaurants in Boston her entire life, before eventually owning her own restaurant.
The opening of Angie’s Lobster is helping to close the gap on its affordability, much like the way the founders say Angie lived: simple and efficient.
Construction is in progress and an Angie’s spokesperson told Valley Vibe a May opening is targeted.
