North Phoenix is brimming with opportunities to support community performing arts during the 2022–2023 season. As local troupes prepare to take the stage this fall, Valley Vibe has compiled the following guide to ensure you don’t miss a beat during the upcoming season.

‘Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids’

Thursday, Sept. 29–Sunday, Oct. 9

The story of Cruella De Vil, as told by local kids.

‘Play On!’

A comedy performed by local adult actors portraying a theater group desperately trying to put on a play amidst chaotic interference.

‘Little Women’

Thursday, Sept. 22–Sunday, Sept. 25

The timeless tale of the March sisters performed primarily by local youth actors ages 13–19.


‘A Year with Frog and Toad Kids’

Thursday, Nov. 3–Sunday, Nov. 6

The children’s book meets a Broadway musical full of adventure, performed by local youth actors ages 6–13.


‘Be More Chill’

Thursday, Dec. 8–Sunday, Dec. 11

The tale of an average teenager who discovers a supercomputer that helps him become popular. This performance hosts a PG-13 rating and will be performed by local teenage actors, ages 14–18.

North Valley Symphony Orchestra with music director Kevin Kozacek is kicking off its 11th season opening Sunday, Oc.t 22.

‘The Queen’s Jubilee’

British compositions spanning the life of the Queen to celebrate her platinum jubilee.

The story of a mysterious lakehouse at which famous literature characters come to life, including Hercules, Robin Hood and Tom Sawyer.

The story of a writer haunted by the spirit of his ex-wife, performed by local adult actors. 


‘Misery’

Friday, Nov. 4–Sunday, Nov. 6

An intimate adult drama about a romance novelist held captive by an irrational fan after she saves his life. 


‘Elf the Musical’

Friday, Dec. 2–Sunday, Dec. 18

A musical for all ages, inspired by the cherished holiday film.
