The Norterra area is now home to its own full-service grocery when the Fry’s Food Store at Jomax and North Valley Parkway. As of this morning, following a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony, Wednesday, Oct. 5 the new grocery and fuel center are open for business.
The 109,224 square-foot store includes a full-service sushi station for orders, or grab-and-go rolls, a wine department with a wine steward to assist customers with selection, and a housewares department for kitchen essentials. Specialities include a Murray’s Cheese shop with specialty trained cheese masters on hand to assist customers in pairing their selections with a bottle of wine or craft beer, a Starbucks cafe, and a selection of sandwiches and soups from Chompies in a grab-and-go case.
“All of our associates at the new store are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors,” Monica Garnes, president of Fry’s Food Stores, said in a press release.
The new store will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
