New 55+ Lock-and-Leave Community Begins Leasing

Posted on November 13, 2024 by Karen Goveia

A new community for the 55 and up crowd in search of a vacation lifestyle and more freedom to come and go without the stress of homeownership has already begun leasing and the first move-ins are slated for early December.

Liv+ Union Peak by Liv Communities is planning a mid-December grand opening adjacent to the Union Park master-planned development in Norterra.

The community consists of 145 apartment-style homes and offers 24 different floor plans, from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts, as well as handicap accessible units. Sizes range from 580–1,735 square feet.

The resort-style community has its own clubhouse, pool house, lap pool and spa, private dog park and spa, a fitness center, yoga studio, meditation and massage therapy room. Indoor spaces include a tech-enabled work center,  game room with a pool table, shuffleboard, and TV. Outdoor space also includes a designated area for pickleball, bocce ball and a grilling area.

This community is managed by a separate Homeowner’s Association from that of the surrounding Union Park community, keeping designated amenities exclusive only to residents.

“Building on our extensive background serving all ages… Liv is excited to bring our purpose of ‘helping people live fuller lives’ to an underserved group of 55+ adults,” said Heidi Arave-Noonan, vice president of Liv Multifamily.

All units feature smart home technology, energy-efficient appliances and offer the convenience of lock and leave for those residents with a jet-set lifestyle.

Special promos as of this writing include $1,000 off move-ins. Leases are offered at 12–14 month terms.
