TSMC Offers Free Program Through Northern Arizona University

TSMC Arizona is partnering with Northern Arizona University to offer a free, 11-week program for those interested in a career in semiconductor manufacturing. 

This new program offers participants a direct pathway into TSMC’s Process Technician role, which includes learning the necessary skills to monitor wafer manufacturing, analyze risk, respond to alarms, and help maintain production efficiency and quality.

Interested candidates have until Friday, July 31 to apply for the program which begins Monday, Aug. 31 and runs through Thursday, Nov. 5. Classes are held at NAU’s North Valley Campus, Monday through Friday from 5:30–8:30 p.m.

TSMC Arizona aims to double its workforce to 6,000 in the coming years to support production of its first three fabs.

To be eligible to apply, participants must be at least 18 years old, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Completion of the program gives participants the necessary skills to interview for the technician role.
