The fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant Luna Grill is opening its newest location at 3025 W. Dove Valley Road Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m.
Offering fresh, made-to-order meals, the menu features flame-grilled kabobs, signature bowls, wraps, crisp salads, fresh pitas and family meals. Proteins are marinated for 24 hours, gyro is shaved fresh to order, and sauces are prepared from scratch daily, according to a company news release.
Luna Grill was founded in San Diego in 2004 by husband-and-wife team Sean and Maria Pourteymour. The opening of the North Phoenix location marks the fourth restaurant to open across the Valley. The chain has grown to 63 locations across Southern California, the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Arizona.
“Arizona continues to grow, and we’re excited to grow alongside the communities we serve by bringing fresh Mediterranean dining to more neighborhoods. As we expand across the state, our goal is to make healthy, convenient dining part of an active lifestyle while creating a welcoming place for families, friends and neighbors to come together. To celebrate the grand opening, Luna Grill plans to welcome guests with special opening-day offers, including a free Santorini bowl for the first 50 guests in line. Guests can also join the brand loyalty program, Club Luna, to access rewards, exclusive offers and digital ordering.
The new restaurant also features a custom mural by local Arizona artist Lizzy Nilsen, inspired by the North Phoenix community and what makes the area unique, giving the new Dove Valley location its own sense of place.
