Two local organizations have a goal of helping improve the life for Anthem area residents, and are in need of volunteers.
Anthem Cares Through Service (ACTS) in partnership with Foothills Caring Corps (FCC) offers non-emergency medical transportation, home visits, handyman services and technical assistance to community members in need. The organizations also lend out crutches, wheelchairs, walkers and shower chairs for those in need.
Volunteers interested in dedicating time, rides and smiles are invited to attend an orientation session. Learn more and sign-up on the website.
