Last month, two new hotels under the Marriott name opened near the northeast corner of Happy Valley Road and Norterra Parkway—the AC Hotel offering short stays and the Element by Westin—offering 95 rooms for extended stays.
Beyond the needed hotel space, the property has 8,000-square-feet of flexible space, filling the gap for much needed high-quality conference and event space in the far North Phoenix Valley.

A local realty group was among the first to host a client appreciation event in the new venue, and found it to be the perfect fit.
“We had outgrown the Fireside Community Center and had been searching the area for a larger venue, but nothing we found could truly accommodate our needs for 200 guests— until this space,” said Andrea Crouch, of the Crouch Group with eXp Realty.
“This isn’t just a hotel — it’s a needed hub. A place that adds value, supports growth, and helps our community connect in ways we haven’t been able to before. And hosting our Gratitude Gathering there really showed how much potential this venue brings to Norterra,” Crouch said.
Many local business leaders and organizations have longed for this type of venue for business meetings, networking events, community gatherings, parties, or nonprofit functions. Beyond that, the setting and indoor/outdoor flow into the courtyard near the pool area offers an airy space for mingling and cocktails.
The hotels also share an open courtyard with a heated salt-water pool and spa, pickleball courts and a fitness center.

Topgolf Swing Suites
Whether you’re a golfer or non-golfer, or you’d like to plan a fun corporate event, the property includes two swing suites with simulator bays with virtual games, including Topgolf target play, golf, baseball, football, hockey and dodgeball. The bays are available to rent by both guests and non-guests.
