Although the start of the new school year is just underway, the time is now for families to begin to assess whether their child’s current school meets their child’s needs and to make any necessary plans or changes as to where their student will enroll for the 2023-2024 school year.
Arizona state laws regarding open enrollment allows students the opportunity to request admission to any public school, regardless of location, based on available classroom space at a particular school. With the pandemic impacting enrollment at almost all schools both statewide and in the local area, and the addition of more online learning options, many of our area schools are working toward rebuilding in-person enrollment.
