An exclusive sneak peek at the various community uses planned for the future sports & entertainment hub.
Imagine a place where sports enthusiasts can gather on the regular, whether in the stands, in one of two restaurants, or while getting in their daily workout—all with clear views of live sporting events.
Construction crews have been hard at work on the Fire ’n’ Ice Sports Arena & Hotel since work resumed on the complex in November, and Shubham Pandey, CEO of Fire ’N’ Ice Group & SSS Academy, told Valley Vibe a major construction milestone is almost complete—the dry-in phase of the project which includes completion of the building’s exterior shell, roofing, windows, doors, etc., allowing work to shift indoors.
Construction remains on track for completion of the arena in August and completion of the hotel in May, Pandey said.

Construction is slated to be completed in August for the Fire ‘N’ Ice Sports Arena.

The hotel at the Fire ‘N’ Ice Sports Complex will likely be a Hilton Brand hotel, according to CEO Shubham Pandey,
with completion slated for May.
“There’s nothing that’s delaying the project, and we’re excited and ready to become part of the community and we’ve begun the hiring process for our team,” he said in a phone interview.
Pandey hinted that an agreement is in the works to bring on a former NHL player to lead SSS Academy, along with that player’s coaching staff. Stay with Valley Vibe for more updates as the player’s name is officially released.
One of the first goals will be to create a NA3HL (North American 3 Hockey League) junior ice hockey league under USA Hockey, he said. There will also be house leagues for other sports including volleyball, basketball and pickleball.
Beyond all the live action, the arena will be a place where the community can gather together for a variety of uses. The fitness center will be available for community use through memberships, including access to cardio and weight training, interval training, a steam sauna, massage and cryotherapy. Teen nights are planned for skating and laser tag, and party rooms will be available to rent. And, on days when no live action is in play, the venue will host concerts.
Dining options include an upscale, sit-down restaurant with panoramic arena views, a sports bar featuring a wood-fired pizza oven and wrap-around bar seating with rink views, and a cafe for quick bites.
